The scribble on the board is a reference to Attack on Titan, with Monokuma as the Colossal Titan and Makoto in a Survey Corps uniform incidentally, in the English dub, Makoto is voiced by Bryce Papenbrook, who also happens to be the voice actor for Eren Jaeger in the English dub of Attack on Titan.
